Glovo courier job

Glovo is the biggest delivery app in Poland: food from restaurants, shopping from shops, medicines from pharmacies. You set your own schedule, you are paid for every delivery, and you can ride a bike, a scooter or drive a car. Below is everything worth knowing before you start — including the things the apps and the partners usually leave out.

Umowa zlecenie at Glovo and your karta pobytu

Since the summer of 2026 Glovo settles couriers only through an umowa zlecenie or a B2B contract — the vehicle rental contract used before that is gone, and the rates went up. If a partner still offers you the old model, that is a sign they are not keeping up with the changes.

How the job works at Glovo

📦 Not just food

Besides restaurants, Glovo carries shopping from shops and medicines from pharmacies. That is why the flow of orders does not drop between lunch and dinner as sharply as in apps that only do restaurants.

🕐 Slots and stats

You book your hours in the courier app — one-hour or half-hour windows, depending on the city. The better your stats (the Excellence Score), the earlier the best hours open up for you. Cancelling your bookings often spoils that access.

🎯 Multi-deliveries

When the routes line up well, the app gives you several orders at once. That is the simplest way to raise your hourly rate without riding any faster.

💳 Cash and tips

Some customers pay on delivery — the app keeps an eye on your cash limit and settles it when you are paid. Tips from the app go to you in full.

How much does a Glovo courier earn

Rates differ from city to city and from one time of day to another, so there is no single figure for the whole of Poland. Across the country, delivery work usually comes to 25–55 zł net per hour, depending on the city, the app, the time of day and the weather. Riding regularly at peak times, couriers in the biggest cities usually earn 33–52 zł net per hour; in smaller places the range is lower. These are take-home figures — what actually lands in your account: contributions and tax are handled for you by the settlement partner, so there is nothing to add or subtract yourself. Rainy evenings and weekends push the rates up, and tips come on top. You see the exact amount for each order in the app before you accept it — and the range for your own city is on the city page below.

How to become a Glovo courier — 3 steps

1
Fill in the form

Your name, e-mail, phone number and city. You go into the settlement partner's system with the fields already filled in.

2
Documents and contract online

You upload your ID document and sign the contract on the website — no visit to an office. Do it straight away, do not wait for a phone call: an adviser may ring even a week later, and your registration moves forward anyway.

3
Pick up the kit and start riding

A thermal bag, the courier app set up and your first orders. No bike? You can rent the equipment from the partner.

What you need

18 or over

There is no upper age limit.

ID document

Polish citizens — a national ID card. Foreigners — a passport and a document confirming legal residence: a karta pobytu, a visa or PESEL UKR (the Polish ID number for people from Ukraine).

Smartphone

Android or iOS with a Polish phone number.

A bike, scooter or car

In tight city centres a bike or e-bike is the fastest; on the outskirts a scooter or a car wins. The equipment can be rented.

Thermal bag

Without one the restaurant will not hand over the order. The model does not matter — any thermal bag will do, even one carrying a rival's logo.

Settlement partner

They sign the contract with you and handle the settlements — that is how you ride legally without setting up a company.

Already riding for Glovo with another partner?

Changing your settlement partner is free and usually takes two or three days; you do not have to tell your current partner about it. Your courier account, your stats and your delivery history stay with you — the only thing that changes is the company that settles your pay.

Choose your city

For the ten biggest cities we have separate pages: where most of the orders are, what hours to ride, what to ride and what you really make per hour.

Glovo works in 147 cities in Poland. Below are the cities we have a dedicated page for — you will land on a page about courier work in that city, covering all the apps.

Common questions about working with Glovo

Do I need my own działalność gospodarcza?

You do not need one. You sign the contract with a settlement partner and they pay the taxes and the contributions — you ride legally, with no bookkeeping and no ZUS on your own shoulders. Your own działalność gospodarcza (sole proprietorship) is an option for people who prefer a B2B contract.

Can I work for Glovo and another app at the same time?

Formally, nothing forbids it, but in practice it does not work. At Glovo orders come one after another with barely a pause — there is simply no room in a shift for a second app.

How long does registration take?

The form and the documents take about fifteen minutes; activating the courier account usually takes a few days. You do not have to wait for an adviser to ring — you upload the documents and sign the contract straight away, online.

Do I need to speak Polish?

Basic Polish or English is enough — the app is simple and built around a map. Registration with the partner also runs in Russian and Ukrainian, and support answers in your language.

When do I get my first money?

The partner handles the settlements in their own app, and you request a payout whenever you want. You can take it as a BLIK cheque (a code you use instead of a card): you generate the code at any hour and take the cash out of an ATM, even on a Saturday — no waiting for a transfer to reach your account.

What if I take a longer break?

The account stays yours, but after a longer spell of inactivity it may need to be reactivated by the partner. If you are planning a pause, let your adviser know — coming back will be easier.
