Cycling along the Wisłok
The city lies on both banks of the Wisłok, and the river valley is its main axis. In 2022 the cycle network, including shared foot-and-cycle paths, came to 157 km. For regular work your own bike or e-bike is best, and a scooter for the outer estates.
A4 and S19 as a bypass, bridges over the Wisłok
The A4 motorway and the S19 expressway run through the northern and eastern parts of the city and act as its bypass. To cross the Wisłok you can take the cable-stayed Mazowiecki Bridge (482 m) from ul. Załęska to ul. Lubelska, or the Załęski Bridge opened in 2025. The centre is a paid parking zone.

Rzeszow covers 129.01 km² and is split into 33 osiedla (estates). The most populous are Drabinianka, Nowe Miasto and Przybyszówka, each with over 11,000 residents (2019). The city keeps growing: Bzianka in the west and Pogwizdów Nowy, added in 2021, mean longer runs from the centre.

Major pick-up points are Millenium Hall at al. Kopisto 1 and Galeria Rzeszów at al. Piłsudskiego 44, plus Galeria Nowy Świat. Some orders come from the Old Town around the Rynek with its 16th-century town hall — check in advance where to leave your bike or scooter.
