Wrzesnia covers just 12.73 km², so trips inside town are short. Newer blocks include the Zielone Wzgórza estate on ul. Śmidowicz, about 1.4 km from the centre; further out is Opieszyn with Park im. Dzieci Wrzesińskich. The whole municipality spans 221.84 km², so a run out of town is a longer one.
Galeria Karuzela by the station
The best-known pickup address is Galeria Karuzela at ul. Kolejowa 15, right by the railway station, where the free electric bus routes also end. The other spot is the centre around the Rynek and ul. Warszawska, where parking a car is paid on weekdays.
Home of the Crafter plant
Since October 2016, a Volkswagen plant has been running near Wrzesnia — the only factory in the world building the Crafter and eCrafter. In 2021 it employed more than 3,000 people on a 220-hectare site. Poznan is 46 km away, and the E20 Poznan–Warsaw railway runs through town.
