The town covers about 33 km², so a bike or e-bike handles most runs. To the south Zary borders the Zary Forest with Góra Żarska (227 m) — the ground rises in that direction. To start a shift you can take a city bus: the municipality has contracted urban bus services for the whole of 2026.
Where DK12 meets DK27
National roads 12 and 27 cross in Zary and share a stretch of the town bypass — watch for through traffic there. The German border crossings at Olszyna, Łęknica, Przewóz and Zasieki are 20–40 km away, while most orders move between the centre and the housing estates.
From the Old Town to Kunice
