The two-level Galeria Grodova (ul. Sienkiewicza 46/50) is right in the centre by the Culture Centre and cinema, with free underground parking. Pick-ups also come up around Plac Wolności and the ul. 11 Listopada promenade, and in 2026 the BIG retail park opened at ul. Żyrardowska 14.
A railway town since 1845
The first Warsaw–Vienna Railway train arrived here on 14 June 1845. Today KM and, since 2019, PKP Intercity trains stop at the station on ul. 1 Maja, while the WKD line ends at ul. Radońska (1,000–1,500 passengers a day in 2022).
