Malbork for couriers: the castle, the Nogat, Galeria Dekada
Glovo and Uber Eats below a Teutonic castle
On the Nogat river, in the shadow of the Teutonic Knights' castle, live 36,147 people (as of 31.12.2025). You can deliver here for Glovo and Uber Eats, and since 28 September 2026 Glovo no longer needs slot bookings. One settlement partner lets you run both apps at once.
Flat ground on the Nogat
Within town limits the elevation ranges only from 6 to 30 m above sea level, so there is hardly any climbing. An ordinary bike does the job. New foot and cycle paths are coming: about 375 m on ul. Konopnickiej and almost 1 km on ul. Tczewska (contract signed May 2026, six months to build).
DK22, DK55 and the central parking zone
National roads 22 and 55 cross the Nogat on a new 178.8 m bridge opened in autumn 2016. The centre has a paid parking zone: Mon–Fri 8:00–17:00, 1 zł for the first 30 minutes and 2 zł for each further hour (2022 rules). Since 2026 you can also pay by QR code through Paymove.
A compact 17 km²
Malbork covers just 17.16 km², so runs are short. The old town was not rebuilt after the war — a 1960s housing estate went up in its place, right next to the castle. Districts include Wielbark, and some addresses take you to Kałdowo on al. Celników Polskich.
Galeria Dekada and the castle area
Galeria Dekada, between ul. Kościuszki and al. Rodła, opened in November 2015: about 5,400 m², 20 units and an underground car park for 100 cars. The other pickup area is around the castle and Stare Miasto, by the Garncarska Tower and St John's Church.
A UNESCO castle town
Founded by the Teutonic Knights in 1274, the castle is the world's largest brick castle and has been on the UNESCO list since 1997; its outer walls enclose about 21 ha. In 2021 it drew nearly 400,000 visitors from over 80 countries, and each July it hosts the three-day Siege of Malbork.
