Glovo is Poland's biggest delivery platform — restaurants, shops and pharmacies in a single app. You see orders in the courier app and decide for yourself when to go online. What you earn depends on how many deliveries you make and how far you ride.

Śródmieście with Piotrkowska and Manufaktura are the two order magnets; the tech university and campuses add student evenings. Widzew and Bałuty mean longer estate deliveries — fewer orders, but steady.

Evenings 17:30–21:30 clearly beat lunches; weekend evenings around Piotrkowska and OFF Piotrkowska can flood the app with orders.
What to ride
The city is flat as a pancake — bikes and e-bikes do great here. For Widzew and Retkinia a scooter is more comfortable; a car mostly makes sense for shop orders.
Because Piotrkowska is shut to traffic, build the walk into your timing — you leave the bike closer to the entrance, not right outside the restaurant. After dark the wide avenues work better than tenement courtyards, where house numbering can catch you out.

What documents do I need to become a Glovo courier?
Polish citizens need an ID card (dowód osobisty). Foreigners need a passport plus proof of legal stay: a residence card, a visa or PESEL UKR. If you are unsure which document applies in your case, the partner's advisor will go through it point by point.
Do I need to register my own business?
Having your own company is an option, not a condition. Going through a settlement partner is simpler: the formalities, settlements and contributions sit on their side, and you work legally from day one.
Does working with Glovo help with a residence card?
The umowa zlecenie covers all of your earnings, so your income appears in full in the documents — unlike models where most of the payout runs through vehicle rental. A residence-card application turns on documented income and contributions; whether you clear the threshold is for the voivodeship office to confirm.
Do I have to wait for the advisor's call to get going?
Your registration does not depend on that phone call. After the form you move into the partner's system, upload your documents and sign the contract online, step by step. The advisor may call as much as a week later — nothing is on hold in the meantime.
How do Glovo slots work?
Slots are time windows you book in the courier app — usually one hour or half an hour, depending on the city and the time of day. The better your statistics, the earlier the best hours open up to you, so it pays not to cancel bookings without a reason.
Do cash orders happen too?
Cash on delivery comes up on some orders and is a normal part of the job. The app itself keeps track of how much cash you may carry, and the amount collected is settled against your next payout.
When will I see my first money?
Settlements run through the partner's app — you can request a payout even daily, including via BLIK. No waiting for standard two-week cycles. It works as a BLIK cheque: you generate the code in the app at any hour and take the cash out of an ATM, even on a Saturday — no waiting for a transfer to land.
What is a settlement partner and do I have to use one?
A settlement partner (also called a settlement partner) is the company that signs your contract and handles taxes — that's how you work legally without your own business. Glovo does not recruit couriers directly — your contract is signed with a partner.
How much tax will I pay if I'm under 26?
Under 26 you are covered by the ulga dla młodych (young person's relief) — no income tax advance is withheld, and if you hold student status no ZUS contributions are due on an umowa zlecenie either. In practice the whole payout reaches you. After your 26th birthday, or without student status, your partner withholds the tax advance and contributions, exactly as on any civil-law contract.
I already ride with Glovo under another partner — can I switch?
