The S6 bypass skirts Slupsk — since 2026 both carriageways have been open — GDDKiA added a second carriageway over 9.5 km and a new bridge over the Słupia. The centre has a paid parking zone: Mon–Fri 9:00–17:00, 2 zł for the first half hour and 4 zł for an hour (2025 rates).

Slupsk covers 53 km². On 1 January 2023 the city grew by 9.56 km², taking in parts of Bierkowo, Strzelino and Płaszewko, including part of the industrial zone in Płaszewko. Most addresses are in Śródmieście and districts and estates such as Zatorze, Westerplatte, Ryczewo, Osiedle Niepodległości, Nadrzecze and Osiedle Akademickie.
