Aleja Unii Europejskiej and the central zone
The eastern bypass, Aleja Unii Europejskiej (about 3.3 km, built 2018–2019), links the DK50 and DK60 and takes traffic off ul. Płońska, Armii Krajowej and Pułtuska. Regional roads 615, 616 and 617 also run through town. The centre has a paid parking zone with meters.

Castle, brewery and the Torus tower
The 14th-century Castle of the Mazovian Dukes, begun by Siemowit III, stands on the Łydynia. The town is also known for the Ciechan brewery, which traces back to an 18th-century ducal brewery, and for Torus Science Park with its 1972 water tower — handy landmarks on deliveries.
