The town covers 23.7 km², so most runs are short. The centre is the Old Town, rebuilt from scratch and dubbed the youngest old town in Poland. The furthest part is Polkowice Dolne, a former village added in 2005, home to a Volkswagen engine plant since 1998.
Retail park on ul. Głogowska
Most pick-ups are in the centre, around the Old Town and along the main streets. Since December 2018 a retail park of about 5,500 m² with 170 parking spaces has stood where ul. Głogowska meets ul. Ogrodowa, a handy place to wait between orders.
