Glovo has held the top spot among delivery apps in Poland for years. For a courier that means one thing: plenty of orders, and varied ones — restaurant food, shop runs, pharmacy pick-ups. You decide when to go online; you are paid per delivery, and the total grows with the number and length of the trips.

Where the orders are
It's busiest in Śródmieście, Mokotów and Wola — office lunches on weekdays, evening dinners in Powiśle and the Old Town. Praga-Południe and Ursynów are calmer but steady: fewer couriers, less racing for orders.
When to ride
Lunch peak 11:30–14:00 around office towers, second peak 18:00–21:30 in residential districts. Weekends add shop orders — Sunday evenings are often the best of the week.
What to ride
In the dense centre a bike or e-bike is fastest — traffic and paid parking eat a car's time. In Ursynów, Białołęka or Wilanów distances grow and a scooter or car wins.
Don't drift back to the outskirts between peaks — Śródmieście and Powiśle hand you the next order fastest. Keep a rain plan too: the Wola office blocks are an easy place to sit out a shower, and orders pile up precisely when the weather turns.

How much does a Glovo courier make in Warsaw?
Across Poland, delivery work usually comes to 25–55 zł net per hour, depending on the city, the app, the time of day and the weather. In Warsaw it depends on the hours and the district: ride the peaks regularly and 33–52 zł net per hour is the normal band, while rainy evenings and weekends pay visibly more. Does Glovo work outside central Warsaw?
Yes — zones cover most of the city, from Bielany to Wawer. The courier app shows the exact coverage; outside the centre there are fewer orders but also less competition.
What's the best vehicle for Glovo in Warsaw?
In Śródmieście and Wola — a bike or e-bike. On the outskirts (Ursynów, Białołęka, Wilanów) a scooter or car works better. You pick your transport at registration.
What documents do I need to become a Glovo courier?
Polish citizens need an ID card (dowód osobisty). Foreigners need a passport plus proof of legal stay: a residence card, a visa or PESEL UKR. If you are unsure which document applies in your case, the partner's advisor will go through it point by point.
Do I need to register my own business?
Having your own company is an option, not a condition. Going through a settlement partner is simpler: the formalities, settlements and contributions sit on their side, and you work legally from day one.
Does working with Glovo help with a residence card?
The umowa zlecenie covers all of your earnings, so your income appears in full in the documents — unlike models where most of the payout runs through vehicle rental. A residence-card application turns on documented income and contributions; whether you clear the threshold is for the voivodeship office to confirm.
Do I have to wait for the advisor's call to get going?
No waiting required: after the form you land in the partner's system, upload documents and sign the contract online, step by step. The advisor may call later — anything up to a week later — while your registration keeps moving the whole time.
How do Glovo slots work?
In the courier app you book time slots — an hour or half an hour, depending on the city and time of day. Book wisely: frequently cancelling reserved slots hurts your stats and access to the best hours.
Do tips go to the courier?
A tip left in the app goes to the courier in full and shows up in your settlement. Quick deliveries and polite contact make the biggest difference — at weekends tips can add a few złoty to your hourly rate.
When will I see my first money?
Payouts run through the partner's app and you choose how often — you can request a transfer every day if you like, BLIK included. There are no fixed two-week cycles here. It works as a BLIK cheque: you generate the code in the app at any hour and take the cash out of an ATM, even on a Saturday — no waiting for a transfer to land.
What is a settlement partner and do I have to use one?
A settlement partner (also called a settlement partner) is the company that signs your contract and handles taxes — that's how you work legally without your own business. Glovo does not recruit couriers directly — your contract is signed with a partner.
How much tax will I pay if I'm under 26?
Under 26 you are covered by the ulga dla młodych (young person's relief) — no income tax advance is withheld, and if you hold student status no ZUS contributions are due on an umowa zlecenie either. In practice the whole payout reaches you. After your 26th birthday, or without student status, your partner withholds the tax advance and contributions, exactly as on any civil-law contract.
