The S10 to the south, tracks through the middle

The S10 expressway skirts the town to the south, with the Stargard Zachód, Południe (DW106) and Wschód (DK20) junctions. Stargard is a major rail junction where the line from Szczecin splits towards Poznań and Gdańsk, so expect level crossings. The paid parking zone was abolished in September 2019.

From the Zachód estate to Kluczewo

The town covers 48.1 km². Many addresses are on the Zachód, Tysiąclecia, Kopernika and Hallera estates, while Pyrzyckie is growing fast — new streets were added there in 2025. Kluczewo, part of Stargard since 1961, lies on the outskirts, so a run there from the centre takes longer.

Galeria Starówka between Chrobrego and Kazimierza Wielkiego

Galeria Handlowa Starówka opened in March 2012 on the square between ul. Kazimierza Wielkiego, Chrobrego and Grodzka, right in the Old Town. Nearby is the Rynek Staromiejski with its Renaissance town hall and St Mary's Church; there is parking by the mall and the town hall.

Tyres from a former airbase

The former Soviet Kluczewo airbase, used until 1992, is now the High Technologies Industrial Park, covering about 850 ha. Since 2009 Bridgestone has made truck and bus tyres there; in 2015 the plant employed 835 people. It is one of the biggest employers in the area.
