Szczecin is big, sprawling, and split by water, so the job works differently here than in a city of the same size on a single bank. Restaurants thicken up in Srodmiescie, around Plac Grunwaldzki and the avenues leading toward Waly Chrobrego. Szczecin for couriers: where, how and when

Ul. Policka — roadworks until 2027.

Since 28 July 2026, the Trasa Północna has been under construction on ul. Policka in Stołczyn: traffic runs in one lane with a 30 km/h limit, and the works will last until September 2027. Allow extra time for trips to the north of the city.

Colour-named streets in Bukowe.

In Bukowe-Klęskowo the streets are named after colours — Brązowa, Seledynowa and so on. They are easy to mix up, so double-check the address.

Łasztownia is not a housing estate.

Międzyodrze and Łasztownia are the port and industrial land — there are hardly any homes there. In August, during the Żagle festival, the Wały Chrobrego and Łasztownia are packed and traffic is restricted.

How does registration work and how long does it take?
You sign up online with a settlement partner — fill in the form, upload your documents, sign the contract. The partner then activates your account in the apps you chose. Bolt Food usually the same day or the next one, Uber Eats within 24–72 hours. With Wolt and Glovo the timing depends on whether your city is currently recruiting couriers — if it is, that's a couple of days. Your advisor checks this before you gather any paperwork.
Do you need experience to become a courier?
No experience required. You need a phone, a means of transport, a thermal bag and a basic feel for the city — the app teaches you the rest. The first 1–2 days can feel chaotic (no-lift buildings, confusing addresses), but after a week the routine clicks. Everyone started from zero.
Can you work for several apps at the same time?
Wolt, Uber Eats and Bolt Food combine easily — you accept the best order and pause the others while delivering. In your city from 5 October 2026 Glovo runs without slot booking, so combining it with other apps is easier than it used to be: you are not tied to a reserved window. Just remember that on Glovo you don't turn orders down — declines can cost you the account, so it is more practical to switch between apps than to keep two active at once.
How many orders do you realistically get per hour?
There is no single number — it comes down to the app, the zone and the time of day. Glovo advertises a near-continuous flow of orders and has the largest partner network, while Bolt Food has the smallest order pool, which is why it's usually kept as a second app. During the evening peak jobs come back to back; in the middle of a weekday you can sit idle for a long stretch. The app shows how many hours you were online and what you earned in that time — after a week you'll know your real pace.
Which days of the week are most profitable?
Friday, Saturday and Sunday usually deliver 2–3× more orders than Tuesday or Wednesday. Evenings between 18 and 22 are strongest, lunch 12–14 is the second peak. The end of the month is slower because people watch their spending. Paydays, match weekends and holidays are good times for longer shifts.
