Swarzedz has two hearts: its own furniture factories and a daily commute into Poznan. That keeps orders from disappearing in the middle of the day — factories and offices order lunch, and the evening adds a second wave once the town comes home from work. Saturday is the most even day of the week, with traffic running from noon into the night, and Sunday only picks up after the afternoon walk by the lake.

How much can you earn as a food delivery courier?
You typically take home 25–55 zł an hour depending on the city, time and weather — that is after deductions, not gross. On Uber Eats in heavy rain or snow it can reach 60–80 zł/h: fewer couriers are out and the orders pile up. Your result depends on how many orders you accept, the distances and the bonuses running in that app. You see the rate for every job in the app before you accept it.
What documents do you need to work as a courier?
Basics: a valid ID or passport, PESEL number, and a Polish bank account for payouts. Non-EU foreigners also need a residence card, work-permit visa or UKR status (for Ukrainians). Cars and scooters require a driver's licence and vehicle papers. The whole verification runs online, usually through a settlement partner.
How does registration work and how long does it take?
You sign up online with a settlement partner — fill in the form, upload your documents, sign the contract. The partner then activates your account in the apps you chose. Bolt Food usually the same day or the next one, Uber Eats within 24–72 hours. With Wolt and Glovo the timing depends on whether your city is currently recruiting couriers — if it is, that's a couple of days. Your advisor checks this before you gather any paperwork.
What should you do if your vehicle breaks down or you crash mid-delivery?
Look after yourself first and call for help if you need it — the order can wait. Then message app support: the job gets cancelled or handed to another courier, and on Glovo you can ask a second courier to collect the food for you. Don't log out — platform insurance only covers you while you are online. If you rent your vehicle from the settlement partner, servicing and a replacement car are included in the rental.
How much does a thermal bag cost and where do you get one?
The settlement partner gives you a thermal bag for free — you don't need to buy one. The platforms themselves neither hand out nor sell equipment. If you already have your own bag from another app, you can ride with it: all that matters is that it holds temperature, branded logos aren't required.
What to do if your phone dies during a delivery?
First rule: ride with a charged powerbank (10 000 mAh handles 1–2 full charges). If the phone is already dead, find a power outlet quickly — even 5 minutes of charging lets you message support. The app will keep your active order if you return online within a reasonable time.
How do tips work and does the courier keep all of them?
Tips come on top of the delivery fee — Bolt Food states officially that the courier keeps 100%. Wolt also adds tips on top of the payment for the job. Uber Eats is the weak spot: since 2024 customers in Poland effectively have no way to tip through the app. Don't budget around tips — treat them as a nice extra rather than part of your rate.
