In Kashubia, 35 km north-west of Gdansk, Wejherowo has 44,983 residents (as of 31.12.2025). Food here is delivered by Glovo, Uber Eats and Pyszne couriers, and since 5 October 2026 Glovo has not required booked slots. One settlement partner lets you ride for several apps at once.
Valley floor and climbs to the edges
The centre sits in the broad glacial valley of the Reda at about 30 m above sea level, but within the town limits the ground rises from 24 to 110 m. A run from the valley to higher streets means a climb. A bike does for the centre; for hills an e-bike or scooter is better.
Tracks through town, Rumia next door
The Gdansk–Szczecin railway runs through Wejherowo — the station has been here since 1870, and SKM trains run from here to the Tricity and to Lebork. Expect some routes to cross the tracks. Rumia is about 11 km away, Lebork 32 km. By car, expect the paid parking zone in the centre — fees apply Monday to Friday, 9:00–17:00.

Wejherowo covers 26.99 km², and its heart is the historic centre with the Market Square and town hall. Runs around the centre are short; longer ones go to the higher edges of town. Wejher's town and its Calvary
Wejherowo was founded in 1643 by voivode Jakub Wejher, and in 1646–1655 a Calvary with 26 chapels and a Franciscan monastery were built here. Today it also has the Kashubian Philharmonic and a museum in the Przebendowski Palace — on concert and festival days the centre gets busier.
