Four apps in the city of sea and dreams
Gdynia has 238,712 residents (as of 31.12.2025). You can deliver here for Glovo, Uber Eats, Wolt and Pyszne, and since 5 October 2026 Glovo has worked without booking slots. One settlement partner lets you ride for several apps at once.
Mevo — electric bikes too
Gdynia has 1387 bikes in the regional Mevo system, many of them electric, and about 50 new stations are being added by the end of November 2026 — for example in Chwarzno-Wiczlino, Dąbrowa, Witomino and near Centrum Riviera. Mevo works all year, but in winter there are sometimes fewer bikes.
In Śródmieście you pay every day
Since 7 January 2026 you pay for parking in Śródmieście every day, weekends included, 8:00–20:00. In the standard zone (including Grabówek, Redłowo, Orłowo and Działki Leśne) you pay Monday to Friday, 8:00–18:00. Couriers are not exempt, and the fine for unpaid parking is 200 zł.
Witomino and Chwarzno — bypass only in 2027
The new Witomino bypass is due to open in 2027, so trips between Witomino and Chwarzno still use the old roads. These districts are higher up than the centre, so on a bike electric assist is useful.
Riviera, Świętojańska and the seafront
Most pick-ups are in Śródmieście: ul. Świętojańska and Skwer Kościuszki are full of restaurants, and fish restaurants line Bulwar Nadmorski. Centrum Riviera (ul. Kazimierza Górskiego 2) has a food court, and further south Klif (al. Zwycięstwa 256) sits next to the Gdynia Orłowo SKM station.
Riviera, the university and Open'er
The biggest shopping centre is Centrum Riviera. In early July the Open'er Festival takes place at Gdynia-Kosakowo airport and traffic in the city grows, and from October the academic year starts again at Gdynia Maritime University (Uniwersytet Morski).

Since 5 October 2026 Glovo in Gdynia has worked without slots — you don't book shifts, you just go online whenever you like. Uber Eats, Wolt and Pyszne also operate in the city (as of October 2026), and one partner lets you combine several of them on an umowa zlecenie (civil contract).
What earnings can a delivery rider expect in Gdynia?
You typically take home 25–55 zł an hour — that is after deductions, not gross. With Uber Eats in heavy rain or snow it can reach 60–80 zł/h. In Śródmieście the restaurants on Świętojańska and along Bulwar Nadmorski are close together, so runs are often short, while longer trips take you up to Witomino and Chwarzno. Yes. Gdynia has 1387 Mevo bikes, many of them electric, and new stations are being added by the end of November 2026, for example in Chwarzno-Wiczlino and Witomino. Mevo works all year, with a smaller fleet in winter.
Where in Gdynia is it easy to lose time?
Bulwar Nadmorski is a promenade of about 2 km at the foot of Kamienna Góra — some venues there can only be reached on foot, so park before you get there. Witomino and Chwarzno are higher up than the centre, ul. Morska jams at rush hour, and parking in Śródmieście is paid every day, 8:00–20:00.
At what times of day is there the most work in Gdynia?
Usually at lunchtime and in the evening, plus weekends and bad weather. In summer things get busier by the sea, around Bulwar Nadmorski and the city-centre beach. Open'er Festival livens up the city in late June and early July, and the Gdynia Film Festival does so in September (21–26 September in 2026).
What do I need to do to start riding in Gdynia?
