Wolt Warsaw — courier jobs
Warsaw is Wolt's premium market: office lunches in the towers, dinners from the better restaurants of Śródmieście and customers used to ordering several times a week.
Working with Wolt — how it works
Wolt came to Poland from Scandinavia and you can tell: a polished app, transparent fees and customers who order from better places. You see every job with its route and its amount in advance — you take what suits you, with no schedule to book.

Where the orders are
The strict centre — Śródmieście, Powiśle and near Wola — is the heart of Wolt: short hops between restaurants, offices and apartment blocks. Mokotów adds the evenings, and Żoliborz and Ochota grow with every season.
When to ride
The 11:30–14:00 lunch around the office towers matters more here than on other apps — offices are Wolt's natural habitat. Second peak 18:00–21:00; Sunday evenings are surprisingly strong.
What to ride
A bike or e-bike wins in the compact centre — most Wolt routes in Warsaw are 2–4 km. A scooter earns its keep on deliveries out to Mokotów or Żoliborz.
Wolt works best within about three kilometres of Śródmieście — the further out you go, the less often the next job lands straight after the last. At office lunchtime, position yourself between Wola and Powiśle: the stream of jobs there barely stops.
How Wolt differs from other apps
In Warsaw Wolt gives you a calmer but better-paid stream than the volume apps — less chasing, more predictability. Plenty of couriers pair Wolt with Uber Eats to close out the peaks; Glovo is a different league of volume and gets ridden on its own.
How to start working with Wolt — 3 steps
Starting with Wolt does not require a company of your own, but it does require a settlement partner — without one the platform will not open an account. You register with a partner from the official list, sign the contract online and, once activated, pick your first jobs.
Full name, e-mail, phone — you'll land in the partner's system with fields prefilled.
Everything step by step on the site — no office visit. Do it right away, no need to wait for a call.
Settlements and payouts live there. An advisor may call later — anything up to a week on; your registration keeps moving anyway.

Questions about working with Wolt — Warsaw
How much does a Wolt courier make in Warsaw?
Across Poland, delivery work usually comes to 25–55 zł net per hour, depending on the city, the app, the time of day and the weather; Wolt pays per task and tends to sit in the lower half of that scale. In Warsaw, riding the peaks it is usually 24–38 zł net per hour; rainy evenings and weekends can be visibly better. Every job shows its fee up front — you know what you are taking before you tap.
Where does Wolt have the most jobs in Warsaw?
Śródmieście, Powiśle and around the Wola offices — lunch is the golden hour. In the evening Mokotów and the plac Zbawiciela area work well.
Is Wolt worth riding outside central Warsaw?
The zone reaches well beyond the centre, but the jobs thin out — most Wolt couriers stick to the central core, and that is where the best hourly rates come from.
What documents do I need to deliver with Wolt?
You need an identity document, and foreigners also need proof of legal stay in Poland (karta pobytu — residence card, a visa or PESEL UKR). You upload the documents online, and the settlement partner checks them before your account is activated.
Do I need to register my own business?
A company of your own is not needed — through a settlement partner you ride completely legally without registering a działalność gospodarcza (sole proprietorship). The contract, the taxes and the ZUS (social insurance) contributions are on the partner's side, and our partner is on Wolt's official list of partners.
Do I have to accept every job?
Turning a job down is not punished — you can simply let it go. Wolt publishes no official threshold, but you can see your acceptance rate in the app, and from couriers' experience it is better to keep it above 60%, and closer to 80% is more comfortable: accounts have been blocked where the rate was very low and jobs were dropped often. Cancelling a job you have already accepted is a separate matter — there is a limit on those and you report them through support.
Is my city actually taking on couriers?
Wolt activates new accounts only where recruitment in that city is open — in smaller cities it is sometimes closed for a while. The partner's advisor checks the current status before you collect your documents, so you do not spend time waiting for nothing.
Do I have to book slots with Wolt?
Wolt does not use a slot system — you do not reserve hours ahead of time. You switch the app on when you have time and take the jobs offered; for many couriers the absence of a schedule is the main reason they choose this app.
How do jobs reach me, and how do I know what I will earn?
Each job appears on screen with the route and the amount — the decision to accept is yours. The fee depends above all on distance, and at the peaks or in bad weather the app adds boosts.
Will I get equipment — a bag and a jacket?
You need a thermal bag for deliveries, and that is the only genuinely compulsory piece of kit. The platform does not hand them out — you buy or rent one from the settlement partner, and kit from another app will normally do at the start.
Do tips go to the courier?
A tip from the app is added to your payment for the job and stays with you. Do not plan your hourly rate around tips, though — people leave them less often on Wolt than on some other apps.
When will I see my first money?
Settlements run through the partner's app — you can request a payout even daily, BLIK included. No waiting for fixed payout cycles.
What is a settlement partner in Wolt?
It is the company that signs your contract and runs your settlements — that is how you deliver legally without a business of your own. The contract is an umowa zlecenie (civil-law contract). Wolt publishes an official list of trusted partners; our partner is on it.
I already deliver with Wolt under another partner — can I switch?
Moving to another settlement partner is handled on a monthly cycle: both partners file the request, and the account passes to the new one after the month ends. You do not have to stop riding — the current month is settled by your existing company. We describe the whole process on a separate page.
