Courier jobs with Wolt in Poznan
Poznan is Wolt's business market: lunches out of the office blocks, dinners from Stary Browar and Jeżyce, and MTP trade-fair weeks that can lift fees across the whole city centre.
Working with Wolt: what the courier job involves
Among couriers, Wolt has a reputation as the most civilised app on the market: no slots, a clear fee on every job and support that answers within minutes. You go online when you want to ride — the rest is there on the screen.
Wolt — Poznan: where, when and what to ride
Where the orders are
The Old Town, Jeżyce and the area around Stary Browar are the densest zones; Grunwald and Łazarz give steady evenings. On weekdays it is worth staying close to the offices on Baraniaka.
When to ride
A clear lunch 12–14 (offices!) and an evening 18–21. MTP fairs and Lech matches make local spikes — keep the city events calendar to hand.
What to ride
Cycling the centre and Jeżyce is quick; a scooter helps on Rataje and during fair weeks, when routes get longer.
Jeżyce and Łazarz are the quiet back yard: fewer couriers than on the Stary Rynek, and largely the same restaurants. In the evening it pays to stand between plac Kolegiacki and Święty Marcin — routes lead both ways from there.
Wolt or other apps?
Wolt is exceptionally strong in Poznan's premium segment — Stary Browar and the better places are its ground. Glovo takes the volume and the shops (a separate league), and the Wolt + Uber Eats pairing is a proven way to fill a full schedule.
How to become a Wolt courier — 3 steps
Wolt does not recruit couriers directly — an account is opened only through a settlement partner from the official list. The partner signs the contract, handles the taxes and walks you through activation; ours is on that list.
Full name, e-mail and phone — they carry over into the partner's system, so you type them once.
Upload a scan of your ID on the site and sign the contract electronically. No need to wait for a call first.
Settlements and payouts live there. The advisor may call later, even a week on — your registration moves ahead regardless.

Included: a Medicover card with a sports package, cheaper fuel and BLIK payouts.
Frequently asked — Wolt Poznan
How much does a Wolt courier make in Poznan?
Across Poland, delivery work usually comes to 25–55 zł net per hour, depending on the city, the app, the time of day and the weather; Wolt pays per task and tends to sit in the lower half of that scale. In Poznan it is usually 22–34 zł net per hour at the peaks; MTP fair weeks add a clear premium. Every job's fee is visible up front.
When are there most Wolt jobs in Poznan?
Lunch 12–14 around the offices and evenings 18–21 in the centre. In fair weeks demand jumps sharply — that is the time to plan longer sessions.
Where should I wait for Wolt jobs in Poznan?
Around Stary Browar, the Rynek and Jeżyce. At lunchtime set yourself closer to the office blocks — that is where most of the company orders come from.
What documents do I need to deliver with Wolt?
The platform itself asks for two things: you must be 18 or over and hold a valid identity document. The rest sits with the settlement partner — Polish citizens need a dowód osobisty (ID card), foreigners a passport plus proof of legal stay (karta pobytu — residence card, a visa or PESEL UKR). The partner checks the full set and helps with legalisation.
Do I need to register my own business?
Without a company of your own you still ride legally: all the paperwork is taken over by a settlement partner from Wolt's official list. Most couriers choose this route, because it needs no bookkeeping and no trips to government offices.
Do I have to accept every job?
There is no obligation to take everything the app offers, and Wolt publishes no threshold. From couriers' experience a safe level is over 60% accepted, and the closer to 80%, the fewer questions. A job you have already accepted is another story: you can drop it only a few times, and only through support.
Is my city actually taking on couriers?
Wolt activates new accounts only where recruitment in that city is open — in smaller cities it is sometimes closed for a while. The partner's advisor checks the current status before you collect your documents, so you do not spend time waiting for nothing.
What happens if I take a longer break?
A longer break puts your account to sleep: after about a month without deliveries it needs reactivation, which the partner handles. If you are planning a pause, it is worth telling your advisor — coming back on line is easier that way.
Do I have to book slots with Wolt?
There is no slot booking at Wolt — you log into the app when you want to ride and take the jobs that suit you. That is a big difference from Glovo: no planning your calendar in advance.
How do jobs reach me, and how do I know what I will earn?
The app offers you a job with the route and the fee on screen — you decide whether to take it. The amount depends on distance (a maximum of 10 kilometres is paid), on how many orders are active and on the weather, and at peak times fees get boosted. Wolt publishes no price list: every job is priced separately.
Will I get equipment — a bag and a jacket?
You need a thermal bag for deliveries, and that is the only genuinely compulsory piece of kit. The platform does not hand them out — you buy or rent one from the settlement partner, and kit from another app will normally do at the start.
Can I combine Wolt with other apps?
Wolt combines well with Uber Eats or Bolt Food — plenty of couriers ride with two apps and fill the gaps between peaks. Glovo is the exception: there the stream of orders usually fills a whole shift, so it is ridden on its own.
What is a settlement partner in Wolt?
It is the company that signs your contract and runs your settlements — that is how you deliver legally without a business of your own. The contract is an umowa zlecenie (civil-law contract). Wolt publishes an official list of trusted partners; our partner is on it.
I already deliver with Wolt under another partner — can I switch?
A change is possible, but it works on a monthly cycle: the request goes to Wolt from both companies — the current one and the new one — and the switch happens once the month has closed. That is why it is better to start the procedure a few days before the end of the month than in the middle of it.
