Czeladz for couriers: M1 by the DK86, Piaski, the old Saturn mine
Two apps in Zagłębie's oldest town
From the Rynek and its town hall down to Piaski, food here is delivered by Glovo and Uber Eats couriers. Czeladz, home to 29,373 people (as of 31.12.2025), has had town rights since the 13th century, and since 5 October 2026 Glovo needs no slots here. One settlement partner covers both apps.
Short runs across 16.5 km²
Czeladz covers about 16.5 km², with the Brynica river running through it. Most trips are a few kilometres — central Bedzin is about 5 km away, Katowice about 11 km. A bike or e-bike handles that easily, and a scooter helps with orders beyond the town limits.
DK86, DK94 and tram T22
The DK86 and DK94 national roads cross Czeladz, with the M1 mall and its 1,680-space car park right beside them. A roundabout near ul. Szpitalna and ul. Kombatantów was finished in 2020. On a bike, watch the rails of tram T22, running from the Czeladź Dworzec loop via Bedzin to Dabrowa Gornicza.
From the Rynek to the Piaski familoki
The centre is built around the Rynek and its town hall. South of it lies Piaski (41-253), a miners' colony from around 1900 with limestone familoki. Orders also go to Osiedle Dziekana, Nasze Osiedle and ul. Katowicka. Next door: Bedzin, Sosnowiec, Katowice, Siemianowice.
M1 at ul. Będzińska 80

The Saturn mine town
