What changes
- Wolt settles couriers through fleet partners on an umowa zlecenie only.
- The amount you see in the app is gross — before tax and contributions.
- What reaches your account is the amount after deductions: tax advance and ZUS contributions, depending on your situation.
How much is deducted
It depends on your age and situation. Under 26 the youth relief (ulga dla młodych) applies, and pupils and students under 26 pay no ZUS on an umowa zlecenie. With another job or over 26 the deductions are higher. The exact amounts are on the partner’s settlement.
What you need to do
Sign the umowa zlecenie with your partner and complete your details (PESEL, student status, other contracts) before 1 October. They decide how much the partner deducts. A foreigner needs a basis for legal work.
