How it works
- For some cash orders the customer can pay by card — the courier takes the payment in the Adyen app on their phone.
- Change belongs to the customer. If the customer leaves more, the extra is a tip.
What it means for couriers
Less cash on you and less change to hand out. You can also switch off cash orders altogether in the Uber Driver app settings.
How to start
You join Uber Eats through a settlement partner — no business of your own. The partner signs the contract with you, settles your orders and pays you out.
You see the fee for every order in the app before you accept it.
