What the draft proposes
- Presumption of employment: the platform has to show what the real nature of its cooperation with a person working through it is.
- Transparent algorithms: platforms must disclose the automated systems that monitor work and make decisions. Important decisions must be reviewed by a human.
- Duties towards PIP: platforms must give the inspectorate data, including on the number of people and types of contracts.
When
The government plans to adopt the draft in Q4 2026, and the law should come into force a month after publication. Until then the current rules apply.
